In an endeavor to slow the aging process, we are introducing the Microdermabrasion System and Glycolic Peel Facial Treatments. Let me share you my true story. About five years ago, I was challenged with severe acne problems due to hormonal changes in my pregnancy. My acne problem affected me in so many ways. Most of the mornings I didn’t want to get up because I didn’t want to face other people with all the acne on my face. I went to dermatologists, skincare professionals and tried almost every product available in the market, but none worked. My search for a beautiful skin made me discover Microdermabrasion. I started with a weekly treatment. Microdermabrasion is a non-surgical, non-chemical, non-invasive method of skin resurfacing. This gentle skin-blasting causes the dead skin layers to be removed along with the skin’s impurities. The skin is exfoliated, resulting in firmer more youthful-looking skin. Over time, this repeated process stimulates the production of new layer of skin cells, bringing with it an increased level of collagen and elastin, improving the skin’s appearance. Microdermabrasion buffs the skin of fine lines and discoloration while refining the texture and hue. Repeated treatments yield excellent results for scar revision (whether from acne, chicken pox or even surgery scars) as well as deep discoloration and tattoo removal. I started doing the glycolic acid peel facial and started using the home care products. I am amazed and truthfully satisfied with the results I am achieving. Glycolic Acid dissolves a glue-like substance in the upper layer of the skin. This dissolving causes already dead skin to slough off the surface more quickly than usual. The increase in cell turnover stimulates the skin to increase collagen production, smoothing wrinkles as well as improving the overall strength and integrity of the skin, thus slowing the “aging” process of our skin. As skin ages, the release of old skin cells slows down dramatically and the upper layer of the skin becomes unevenly thick. The skin can appear dry, scaly and exhibits age spots. By keeping cell buildup to a minimum the acne condition begins to diminish and acne scarring begins to lighten. Over the years, these two treatments helped me rediscover my face again; it gave me new skin and has decreased the scarring and discoloration on my face tremendously. Now, I can wake up again in the morning and look forward to a beautiful skin.
